Is any place to ride enduro in Jakcsonville area?
The mileage "ratings" for current models are available on the Harley-Davidson website for each specific model. At present, H-D only offers fuel injection, the last carbureted bikes were produced in 2006 (and were a distinct minority of production from 2004-2006, especially in touring models). To the best of my knowledge, CVO models have all had FI since 2002 or 2003.The mileage ratings H-D shows are not always reflective of real-world figures, however. They result from controlled condition tests on dynamometers, and are prepared for, and in conformance with, federal government regulations. For instance, as I recall, my 2006 FLHTI (Electra Glide, Injected) was rated at something like 46 MPG; however, I have found that actual mileage varies significantly with speed, altitude and aggressiveness on the part of the right wrist. I have seen mileage from around 32-36 MPG at 80-85 MPH (with an occasional run to 110 or so) on the desert during the summer to 55 MPG at around 65 running from the mountains to the desert during the fall. Usually, I plan on around 40 MPG, with mileage between 40 and 45 MPG at 65-75 MPH.
Where might i be able to get a CDI ECU for my Honda CBR 250RR?
the vrod is estimated 50 mpg Highway 44 city.Who knows what a trx 450 r is?
FI always better.but dont buy a MC because of mileage!buy it cause you love it!Do sport bikes have a seat for a passenger?
These models are usually rated between 42 and 50 miles a gallon fuel injection is more reliable easier starting more horse per cube but Ive always got better fuel mileage out of a carbWhat is a great price on a new 2007 Suzuki SV650??
I have a carburetor Heritage Softail Classic. I get about 40 mpg. My husband has a fuel infected Road King and his does better, about 48 mpg.I have a 2001 Yamaha R6, need new clutch leaver?
carbs are a relic of the past that people need to ditch. fuel injection is more reliable gives you more power (the key thing hehe) and better mileage. most bikes get between 35 and 50 varying on displacement and weight.Has anyone heard of ROKETA? I am looking at their quads, are they good quality?
carbs are no longer being put on any hd as of the '07 model year. if u want a carb hd, u'll need to go '06 and older. fuel injected bikes warm up quicker than carbs. v-rod isnt a gas sipper, that sled litterally gulps it, and has the worst mileage of any model, but the road glide wouldnt have nearly the amount of take-off zip or manuverability.Idles go down after while of riding?
CVO get far worse MPG then stockers. V-rods are the worst of the bunch, it's one thristy scooter, even in stock configuration. My Iron Head Sporster & Super Glide get 47 & 43mpg, respectively. While my Evo Sportster gets 53mpg and my FLH injected get 52mpg.
You can knock about 10-15% from that for the CVOs.
FYI....all CVO are injected.
