Question:
I want to get one of the new style conversions where you don't have to change much. For instance "Spyke" has one. I need some instructions on what all needs changed. Or if someone had some specs on converting my bike over that would be great.

As you can tell, it is possible, but not probable.

Wich motorcycle tire is better for high speed the shinko r003rr or the bridgestone bt015r?
I went through the same thing many years ago. While I'm certain that things have improved, this will be a lot more effort than it's worth. Unless you have some sentimental attachment to the bike or it has some unique value, you will be better served by cleaning it up and selling it. Put the money into a bike with the equipment that you want. Most people that start out riding sportsters, out grow them within one or two seasons. They are quickly ready to move up to a big Vtwin. You are about to put a lot of effort and money into something that will never pay off. I'm sorry if that isn't what you wanted to hear but, like I said I've been there. Good LuckWhat part is this on a 1988 K75 Motorcycle?
Your model is an XLCH and the electric start version was an XLH, so, all the stuff is available through Harley. Whether you use Harley or some aftermarket kit (I can't imagine why the kit would be any simpler) I believe you are looking at a fairly big and somewhat expensive job. Now that I think about it and remember what a crude bike those old iron head sportsters were I'm tending to agree with the first answer you received, sell it off and/or trade up to a newer model.Time to step up and answer this test!?
I did some searching around and could not find a starter kit for your bike. There may be one out there somewhere but I could not find it. Having ridden sportsters, my suggestion is to keep tat one stock and go buy a newer model. Good luck and safe riding.More Questions & Answers ...
