Question:
I have a rgv 250 with a tail light problem. the stop light just stays on the whole time. I have check the wiring, fuses, bulb, the little thing on front and rear brake which activates the stoplight when pulled/pressed, and nothning seems to work. Any ideas?
Answers:
Does anyone know what those noisy kids' bikes that run on petrol are called?
I am not familiar with this bike, but, is it possible that the taillight bulb is installed wrong (IE 180 degrees) so that the brake light filament is touching the taillight connection instead? Or, could it be that the brake/tail light wires have accidently been switched. If neither of the above are the problem then I would suspect the one of the brakelight switches is stuck on. Just disconnect them one at a time, which ever one causes the brakelight to go off when disconnected is the problem.
Does any one have a yamaha why yh50 scooter?
Adjust the brake light switch so the tension on the spring is without tension. The brake light should now be out.If not ,check the wires from the switch to see if they could have exposed uninsulated bare wires touching each other to complete the ciruit. If so tape each one seperately with electrical tape. Now check the brake switch at the handle bar lever. It is spring loadedis it stuck? If so repair it.More Questions & Answers ...
