K&N Pods, Kuryakan Hypercharger, or Baron BAK, which is the better performance upgrade?

Question:
I know I asked a simular question before but I thought I ask one more time before I make a commitment. I have an '06 V-star classic with V&H Slip-ons but I guess the question applies to just about any big V-Twin Cruiser with carbs.
Yes, I know I will have to re-jet the carbs and probably replace the needles. Any thoughts about Mukuni needles?
Also if you have any thoughts about going from twin carbs over to a single carb to do away with the need to synch your carbs, let's hear it. Thanks.

The best air cleaner upgrade for the money would K&N Pods. However, I prefer the "Chubby" air intake system over MaxAir's Predator Pro.
