How do I sell my 2004 Harley Davidson 883 XL motorcycle ?

Question:
Hi ! I have been trying to sell my 2004 Harley Davidson for 4 months. It is a GREAT bike. I listed on Craigslist and even tried to sell it on ebay. I dropped the price 1000 dollars to 5200 dollars and still no bites ! It has low miles and it has been garage kept every night of it's life. Please any suggestions !!?

is hero honda going to launch new karizma or any high power bike?

EBay is a auction, so you have to do it like a auction with a low start price and use a reserve, the $5 is refundable when it sells, you can lower the reserve anytime. this makes a valuable tool. check closed auctions and see what they have been selling for, Good luck, :)

How do you change the transmisson gears in a '95 Suzuki RF900?

Good luck with this one...the Harley-Davison company has made financing new bikes so easy, no one wants to buy a used one anymore, especially in this economy...if they go the bank and finance a used one, it will cost twice as much as a new one through the dealerships...we found this out the hard way, too, so we have decided to just keep it, especially with the price of gas...

trying to track the history of a 1987 harley davidson motorcycle i bought?

Wait for warmer weather, Price it at 4999.9999999. sounds better than 5+++ .Tax returns will start comming in soon. Take it to local biker bars and any events (Poker runs etc.) you can attend. Better to sell a bike local than over the net as it can add 500$ in shipping.

whatever happened to the chopper 'Blue Thunder'?

Try an ad on hogs4sale.com also or with your local dealership if they aren't rip off artists. 883's are hard to get rid of so good luck, market is saturated with them due to others buying them & needing more power, bigger bike, etc. which is maybe why you are selling yours? Try word of mouth with friends that ride, usually a chick is looking for one.

Kawasaki 1500 mean streak, How often do you need to change the oil and oil filter, using 100% synthetic oil?

Unfortunatley everone leads you to believe that harleys keep their value, not so. especially an 883.
It's underpowered for a harley let alone any size jap cruiser, good luck.

what kind of oil is the best for a yz 250?

Those are the 4 months that everyone around here has been calling me crazy, 'cause I'm still riding while theirs are sleeping in the shed. I don't know where you are, but around here they try to sell snowmobiles Nov - Feb instead of motorcycles. Things should start to pick up for you in March or April, when people believe the good weather will stay. I wouldn't have bothered until April. Good Luck.

You can start with running an add in your local news paper.
