Depends on the ride I am on. On just short trips in town i wear a HJC skid lip. If I am travelling out on the highway for more than a couple of hours i wear an HJC SB2 Air. I like HJC helmets because of wear the chin strap touches my chin, its don't slide back and choke me like some other helmets do.

I don't wear one for a couple reasons, it restricts your peripheral vision, it restricts your hearing, and in the event of an accident, many emergency personnel are not properly trained or sometimes equipped to remove a helmet.(I'm an EMT so that's first hand knowledge).Does any one know of any good dirt bike dealers in ireland?

i use a half shell with visor in the winter, no visor in the summer. they're cooler than full face lids in the summer, but full face is much warmer in the winter.More Questions & Answers ...
