MOM TOOK MOTO-CROSS AWAY FROM MY SON BY LETTING HIS BIKES GET REPOSSESED AND WOULDNT EVEN LET ME KNOW UNTILL THEY CAME TO PICK THEM UP.WE ARE GOING THROUGH A DIVORCE AND SHE IS TRYING TO GET BACK AT ME THROUGH OUR CHILDREN.INSTEAD OF CALLING AND ASKING ME TO HELP MAKE THE PAYMENTS SHE JUST TELLS THEM TO COME AND GET THE BIKES.KEEP IN MIND THAT WE HAVE RACED EVERY WEEKEND FOR THE PAST 4YRS UNTIL WE STARTED THROUGH THIS DIVORCE.WHEN WE WOULD GI TO THE TRACK ON THE WEEKENDS SHE WOULD JUST SIT IN THE TRUCK AND NOT EVEN WATCH HIM.DOES ANY ONE HAVE A YAMAHA YZ 85 REALLY CHEAP OR TO GIVE TO SOMEONE THAT COULD USE IT TO HELP KEEP SONS SPIRITS UP.I ASKED ABOUT YAMAHA BECAUSE I HAVE LOTS OF PARTS.

my son was a straight "A" student untill this happened.i tried to get her to let me go down and pick up the bikes but she refused to go with me or to even call them.this has had a very large impact on my sons life.since she called my job so many times and got me fired it has been hard to get this back for him.will someone please help?

I know you are totally in that "deer in the headlight " part of the divorce process. If the bikes had your name on the credit used to buy them, you can get them back just go to the bank show the divorce filing papers, explain how you were unaware that this was going to happen. They should give you a personal loan to cover the remainder of the bike. Next goto the creditor who yanked the bikes and pay them off in full and get them back. There is a redemption period.If not goto your local dealer many have reasonable purchase plans and buy a new one Keep it at your house or in storage. At the same time don't use motocross to piss your x off either. Meaning understand that things will be different which means every other weekend of riding for a while etc...
I know racing is important but how you react is gonna impact your son the most. He might be thinking his love of motocross is making the divide between you and his mother even bigger. So no matter what games she plays you be a bobble head for a while and eventually she'll stop.

I would be willing to bet that if you spoke to the repo dudes they would probably let you make good on the past due balance, pay a penalty and get the bikes back.And you had no clue the payments were at least 90 days behind until the repossession agent showed up? I find that hard to believe, but if so, what else might be behind that can impact your life?

As far as the harassment, if you are going through a divorce, I assume you have an attorney that has collected a pocket full of money to represent you. Let him represent you. Call and ask his advice.

You expect us to beleive that you cant figure out who the repo agents are yourself - you need wifey to do it for you - she hass to come with or call them for you? You expect me to beleive your job fired you for HER calling you too often?? (If you were fired for that, it is because you kept answering when she called. in other words, as much your fault as hers. Either that or its wrongful termination.)
