What kind of bikes are best?

im moving to a large city and im planning on purchasing a bike, i really would love to have a beach cruiser; but im not sure if that is suitable for an urban city. Which by the way rains all the time. would i simply be better off purchasing a mountain bike?

Yeah the Ducati mountain bikes are awesome and nobody likes whinny Asians! Seriously, I would go for the mountain bike. You never know when you may want to ride somewhere that the cruiser won't handle.
