What is the best 250cc cruiser for the money?

It was the reason I bought a Hyosung GV250 and I love it. It served me well straight out of MSF training. I was wondering what others thought about there first bike.

Good article, The only 250's that I have personally ridden are the Ninja, Rebel, GZ250, and Virago. I really liked the Ninja and Virago, so I guess if your looking for a 250cc cruiser then I would go with the Virago. Although you will probably want to move up soon, it is a really fun bike to ride though.

Is a 250 ninja a good beginner bike?

The hands down best 250cc cruiser is the Hondas Rebel. Started out in 1978 as the 185 Twin Star, and is the biggest seller still in it's class. Great cruiser styling, a low maintenance. bulletproof little engine tjhat will give you thousands of miles of service , with a few oil changes as maintenance. Honda donates many of these to the Motorcycle Training Schools, and they hold up tpo many, many miles of novice riders. Parts and accessory availability is fantastic.

i agree that the rebel is durable, but worth the money? i dont think so, it might be durable but the looks are ****. any person who rides a rebel 250 and calls himself a biker should be shot in the head. utter stupidity. and the rebel being the best in its category is rubbish!!!
