I have been doing research on the gsxr 600, r6, and the cbr 600. There isn't much space to give all the qualifications but this site i'm giving you did all the dirty work for you and myself. Its worth taking the time to read. They compare with dyno, professional input, track racing and street riding. Helped me out a lot.Is there any motorbikes wholesalers sites?
a new rider, are you sure you don't want an easier bike to ride.something you can get some experience on first. get it wrong on a 600 and you will get hurt..you need to spend more for a nice bike.
If you stare-n-compare you will see that Honda uses the most quality parts, etc. Suzuki is ok too (but their dirt bikes SUCK). Honda is the most innovative and best in research/development (other brands follow). I have experience with them all. I beat the hell out of my Honda CBR 954RR, and she wakes up every morning wanting more (if I could just find that kinda woman). Trust me: HONDA! My dirtbike won't die either.
not going 2 happen in less you want a moped
I just got some riding boots and i cant hardly shift?
First I will say, take a "Motorcycle Rider Safety Course". That will save your life. Also I would look for a good used "Cruiser" as your first bike. A Crotch Rocket will get you killed. You need to crawl before you can walk. And always where a helmet. How many people here actually started on a 250cc?
Have you considered buying from a car dealership that also sells motorcycles, they mainly sell cars so they are more flexible in dealing with their prices. Beside this, they want to break into the bike sales business and want your referral. They also have their bikes on consignment so it costs them more to keep them on their floor. They also have more financing options to deal with, so the easier chance of getting approved. I would also keep an eye on your local Auto Trader even a deal that doesn't look like a good price can be negotiated if the buyer is strapped for cash and looking for a fast sell. You can also check with your local motorcycle dealers, they have people who want to trade in bikes but the dealer won't accept them because the resale is not there. Often times if you speak to the sales person, you can give your name and phone # and what type bike you are looking for, they can give you referrals. You can also put your information up on the bulletin boards at your local grocery store, you may find somebody that has a bike just sitting in the garage waiting for an offer. Good luck in your search, perseverance will pay off in the end.Can it affect your transmision if you put bigger tires on your atv?
Dude, These bikes are VERY unforgiving to the novice riders. They are over-responsive to the point of being absolutely squirrelly. They are race bikes designed for going really fast under perfect conditions, something you'll never find out here in the real world. Plus they are uncomfortable on long rides. I'd advise you to get a nice standard bike like a honda nighthawk or yamaha maxim or seca circa 1980 - 1990. Learn to ride first. Discover what you really want in a bike. You'll probably find that what you thought you wanted isn't quite what you really want after you've ridden a while.Learn, enjoy, live to give unsolicited advice. Just like me.
