Repairing scratches on a 2001 Buell Blast?

What is a good product to use to repair fairly bad scratches on a black motorcycle (plastic piece)? You can really feel the scratches, so I assume I'll have to buff them out or something, as well? Any advice? There are about 352037 products on the market x_x

Depending on the depth of the scratch. you can use a heat gun to get it out. Keep the heat moving. dont go nuts in one spot. This helps to restore the color as well in many cases.
