if you do, and it has a stock HD carb on it let me know, I want it.
You can't beat the quality of a Keihin CV for bikes up to about 100 inches, the S&S stuff is junk. It was good years ago, as replacements for carbs that are now 20 years old. Mikuni's are nice, but they take some lovin to get as good as a CV. Jet your CV right, adjust the idle mixture screw, and put a good air cleaner on it.
48 is too big for an 88" scooter, these things are tractor engines not jets.

yes you can. you cant really say 100% b/c condition of carb but for the most part ,with a little patience and a wide variety of jets she should scream.
