You can make up your mind very easy by doing this, havingpicked out two bikes already is good. Locate either bike
and simply sit on it, if the handle-bars feel comfortable to U
and your feet are firmly planted on the ground while on bike
this is probably the bike for U. Important to have both feet
planted firm on ground this is the way it will every time U
stop after riding. The only other thing U need to think about
is the amount of money U want to spend. The more C.C.s
or bigger engine, the more money it will cost. The bigger
the engine the more power & speed U will have. Try as
many different bikes out as U can before buying one. Always
wear a helmut when starting out. Best off to find an old raggeg
dirt bike to learn on if U have never ridden before. Then if
drop it little harm has been done. Good-Luck

Both the Virago and the Rebel are good starter choices. 250cc should be plenty of bike for you to start off with. I went with the Hyosung GV-250 and had a blast last season. For pics, check out my website below. If I took a CBT test on a 50cc moped do I need to resit my test for a 125cc?
Hey there, I am not sure where you are but if you live near a Harley-Davidson dealership go by there and find out if they have a Riders Edge class available. If so, I highly reccommend it for you. That class is designed mostly by The Motorcycle Safety Foundation and is specifically for people that want to learn to ride. They will teach you the basics of riding and they provide the bikes for the course! Once you have taken the course you will have the basic skills to go out on the street and be a good, safe rider. If no Harley dealer then do a search for MSF courses, one may be offered near you and it may be a requirement of your state that you take a course to get a motorcycle endorsement on your drivers license. I have a 644 freedom scooter my husband had to take off back wheel to fix flat?
I don't recommend getting a 250cc cruiser when you can easily learn on a 500-750cc and you'll get more long-term use out of the bike. I recommend the Honda VLX (600). Other suitable models are the V-Star 650, the Kawasaki Vulcan 500, or the Suzuki Boulevard has a low-end cc model (formerly the Suzuki Savage). All of these should give you a seat height that puts your feet comfortably on the ground.More Questions & Answers ...
