Question:
Here are the basics-1. Took the gas tank, coils, spark plug wires off in order to put on a new valve cover. (Gas tank was not totally removed, just unbolted and put to the side, so nothing came unhooked). Put it all back together, wont start. I am pretty sure the plug wires in the correct order, because they only go back on one way. (Too short to force another way). Here is what it "sounds" like- It tries to start, begins to rumble like is going to, "pops" (quiet backfire) and does not start. What did I hook back up wrong? If ithelps, it is an 83 Honda Nighthawk 650.

Motor bike events in northern england from april06th to april 10th 2007?
When you moved the fuel lines you may have disconnected the lines. If the bike has a vacuum line for the fuel tank, you may have swapped the fuel and vacuum lines. I used to have an Interceptor(Honda) that was like that.I would like to buy a moophead or gophead thingee so i could stunt on it?
If you removed the coils, you may have reversed the wires that power them.Edit 4:15 3/8/07
I didn't mean the spark plug wires. The wires from the wire harness to the coils. Just in case you misinterpreted my answer.
