I have seen all the hype and some poeple i know have mixed views and say the difference is not that great but the reviews i have read reckon its an awesome machine and a lot quicker. mind the 12r is no couch potato. so if not speed what are the other benefits

To be honest I don't think your going to notice a hell of a lot of difference. Except your 12R is a lot nicer to look at!you want a zx10r instead, there like s**t of a shovel and very light weight, but the zx14 is a excellent bike too.

keep your 12 it will handle better than the 14. it will be cheaper on insurance as well the 14 is a long bike but ride wise there won't be much difference in the two I've done some 500 mile days on a 12 and was surprised it was nicehad a zx12a1 b4 they restricted them what a bike in a straight line but crap in the twistys it might of been me i was only 10 stone then,took it to Spain got chased by the Spanish police every were,milage is crap when u open them up,always looking for a petrol station,got caught going down the m57 doing 187mph by a t5 i was sitting at the lights for about a minute b4 he caught up,didn't even know he was chasing me,up in court he said his car topped out at 150 and i was still accelerating away from him at a high speed,wont say what happened to me but lot of points my own fault for not looking in my mirrors!if your getting bored with a zx12 instead of changing it put a better exhaust and an easy breather filter or borrow a smaller bike and then get back on yours you will feel that buzz again.the zx12 is and i mean is the most off its head bike you can ride.95mph in 1st gear cooolll

what you need to ask yourself is how many times do you hit top speed anyway. the 14 has approx 25lb of torque more which is more useful and making wheelies even easier.More Questions & Answers ...
