Seat Height Question?

Question:
I currently ride a Yamaha YZF-R6. The seat height for this bike is 32.3". I am interested in purchasing another bike that has a seat height of 35". I am able to flat foot on my R6, but just barely. The seat for the other bike is more narrow than the one on my R6. Would I still be able to sit flat foot if the seat is more narrow?

2000 Harley wont start or do anything!?

Im pretty sure you would be able to, but if not, you could always lower the bike by turning down the coil from the center shock, just be sure to stiffen the shock a little bit if you do.

Saddle bags?

The only way to know is to try it. That said, there's really no need to be able to flat foot a motorcycle (I can only touch the ball of one foot down on my DR650), but if that's what your comfortable with it's entirely up to you.

Standing flat foot is not necessary, I would not lower a bike under any circumstance as it screws the handling.
