Anybody have an opinion on a 2001 Suzuki SV-650s?
No, sounds really unlikely. There have been a few custom bikes built with diesel engines (including one's taken from cement mixers) but its certainly not the norm. Good idea though.I don't know of any production bikes that have diesel engines. Diesels don't lend themselves to the sort of usage that you have with a bike. Bikes need smaller lighter, higher revving engines. That's the opposite of what a diesel engine is.
Transportation of motorcycle to Perth. W.A.?
Royal Enfield makes a diesel version motorcycle. Getting it imported to the US would be a legal nightmare, but you might be able to obtain the engine/trans unit. Make sure the lable it as "Parts".kawasaki was makin a diesel dual sport for the army not sure if you can get one though
Is the yamaha virago highway legal?
diesel bikes for 'joe average' hasnt been produced...yet. kawa is using the army as their guinea pig on a diesel bike, but its for military use at this time. besides, the top speed of this scoot is only 80 mph. would u settle for a top speed of only 80? i could deal with it, but rice rockets would be whinin from lack of speed.More Questions & Answers ...
