Take the tank off, Fill half full with fine clean sand, put cap on, shake like crazy(the tank), may try a hardware store and see if you could protect it with rags and clamp in a paint shaker, poor sand out, rinse thoroughly, if you use water get some WD40 and finish the rinse with it as it will get all the water out, reinstall on Sportie and meet me in Sturgis in August and tell me if it worked
Empty tank out and fill with paint thinners swirl it around and empty it out and clean the inside with a cloth and bent wire then rinse it out with petrol leave the thinners in over night. Don't smoke while doing any of this job.
