No, motorcycles use up mph faster than cars, so a motorcycle has to go 70 mph to go the same speed as a car going 60 mph. LOLOL!! sportbike speedometers tend to read high even out of the factory... with modified gearing the speedo error can become much higher. you can install a speedohealer to correct for this. have a friend pace you in a car if you really want to know!different stokes for different folks....fast is fast.cars & bikes have different systems for making the speedo work cars run of the gearbox, bikes of the front wheel. the speed is the same..not sure how accurate they both are..when I find a freind with a car that goes faster than 170 mph I can check for you...
