How much is a good asking price for a 03 yamaha r6?

I want to sell my r6 It's a nice looking bike black with red flames and visor it's an 03 it has a it has a mig exhaust system and a steering dampener it runs greats was doing 130 earlier with no problem. Now the bad I just found a dealer to buy it and when I was on my way home to put it on my truck and sell it to them some ***** cut me off and I dropped that bike I was only going like 3 miles an hour and dropped the bike it didn't even stall still run great but there's scraps along the right side of it. I need money what would you say is a good asking price with it scraped up on the side?

If it's only scraped up and nothing is broken or cracked you should be able to pull 4000- 5000 easy. I recently fixed the plastics on my buddies bike. For 500 bucks I had them color match painted. All the plastics not just one side. How much was the dealer offering you?

Depends on how extensive the damage was. Did you have sliders on? $5500 is a good price for an '03 in cherry condition! Look into how much it would cost to get the plastics repainted and add new decals... you'll get a better price if you make the bike look as nice as possible before selling it.
