How can i make a regular dirt bike street legal without licensing it?
Often time items such as tools or equipment are covered, for example a lawn mower or an air compressor, Did your ATV have a practical use(( Wink ,Wink ,Nudge, Nudge)) if it had a use and was a tool or equip. you may have some coverage. You really need to read your policy, calculate your deductible and see if you have a fighting chance.
If you feel your policy covers your loss but you are not getting paid, Hire an independent insurance adjuster to assist in your claim.
Yeah its called fine print. We ran into something like that this last year. Basically you need to sit down either with a microscope and/or you agent and find out exactly what you are covered for.

Time to find a different insurance company.Whats the best kind of bike to buy?
Many people who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina got nothing from State Farm. Their neighbors who had other insurance co. may not have got all they wanted, but at least they got something. State Farm is just a bad insurer. They take your money for years until you have a claim, and then they refuse to cover your loss. I saw all of this on a doc. on msnbc last week. I will never buy state farm insurance. What STORES sell Razor pocket mods?
Homeowners policies dont cover ATV's, Snowmobiles, CARS...You need to take out a separate policy for it. I dont think there is a company out there that offers theft coverage for motor vehicles.

That is strange you need to look into it as to why. there must be some hidden clause. My husband had golf clubs stolen out of his truck which was parked in the garage and our homeowners paid every but of the claimDoes anyone remember BSA motorbikes and the joke for what BSA stood for?

Some of the answers here are good, others are not. No homeowners policy covers motorized vehicles. The items in your garage are covered except things that are motorized. The only real exceptions to that are lawn mowers, snow blowers, lawn tractors. You can get coverage under your homeowners for liability it the ATV is used on your premises. Is it possible to have get drivers license in one state and a motorcycle permit from another state?
There are no companies out there that would insure an ATV on your homeowners policy automatically. Some will let you add it on for an additional premium.
What is a one wheeled cycle called?
You should have checked with your agent when you purchased it if you needed insurance.
On a 1977 kz650 its the ignition system points or electronic ?
You probably needed a "rider" added to your policy. It's something you need to add to cover certain things. If you own guns, you may need one for those too. Sometimes the agents "forget" to explain all the details when you buy your policy and when you need it you'll get, "BTW, that's not covered"Speak to your agent and ask him for the number of your states insurance commissioner. Just doing that will often get results. If your agent said you were covered then make it clear you will file a complaint with the commissioner and/or take legal action.
