On a 1977 kz650 its the ignition system points or electronic ?

im about to buy a '77 kawasaki kz650 but i need to know if the ignition system is points or electronic.it is a proyect bike but i do not like breaker points systems

Unless it was upgraded - points - upgrades are available to electronic though...

Its points, but that's not a problem. I have a 1978 KZ 650 and its the most amazing bike I've ever had. Fast, reliable and fun. Its a great project bike - there's lots of manuals and parts about, and its a really simple bike to work on and to tune.

Electric ignition in older bikes is much less reliable then points anyway. Don't write off this bike just because the ignition uses points.
