You can get a sportsbike in India. As far as searching the net is concerned, you wont find such information there. It is a closely guarded secret how imported bikes come in India and are sold (see my other answers and they may help you), that is why you dont see too many sportsbikes around. Also, getting a sportsbike in India is a very difficult task. There are just too many problems and formalities.

I dont know about Hyderabad but I stay in Delhi and if you need an import, I can help you in contacting people which can get you a sportsbike.

Bike Leathers Over A Suit?

As far as the question of a good sports bike is concerned, it depends on how much your budget is or how much you can afford. If you are willing to pay good money, then I would suggest that you get a Superbike (greater than 900cc). My choice in superbikes is the Yamaha YZF R1. It looks too good and you have to ride the bike to believe its mind numbing power. According to me, it is the best sportsbike on the planet.
