I rode one once, a friend had one (he might still have it!). It is SO damn weird, for one the rear brake and shifter are on the "wrong" sides (reversed), plus the shift pattern was all whacked, 1 up, 3 down, something like that. I think I could do a better job or riding a normal bike if I sat on it backwards! Yeeesh, glad i didn't put it down. Was fast as hell though! Yes, Ariel was the manufacturer
