There is no checkpoint to when you service your bike, you make that decision on how hard you ride it, what conditions you ride it in and who it was last serviced by.

do safety checks every week(brakes tyres lights etc) basic maintenance every two weeks (oil level cables battery etc) Service every 3000 miles or 6 mths(full service) the higher your milage the more regular you should carry out all this. this is only a guide no harm doing safety checks every time your going out. ride safe and free.Looking for Harley Davidson school in or around Daytona Beach?
No one has mentioned rings change or piston, their is so much to check with it been a high performance 2 stroke so follows someone elses advice get a manual and get your hands dirty! Then you will know what needs doing when !Nice bike but many seize because they dont get looked after
The RS125 is a highly tuned performance engine which needs constant care to maintain power and reliability. Use only top grade oil and be sure to warm it fully before using high revs. Wash and polish it every week and lubricate all moving parts including the chain. Keep the chain at correct adjustment as this aids smooth gear changes and minimises mechanical losses.Buy a service manual and even if you are a novice now with time all will become easier. Happy riding & stay safe.
