Just a 125 but having never owned one before, i understand you have to go on some sort of course before you are allowed on the road, what is it, what is involved and how much does it cost?

They do the CBT on their own motorcycles, and you should have a choice of a geared motorcycle, or an automatic scooter. They should also provide all of the necessary safety gear (gloves, helmet, etc.) although if you're serious you may want to buy them in advance - or get advice from the instructor about what's the most appropriate.

The CBT involves basic balance and manouvering skills, stopping, indicating, road awareness, etc. and is mostly done on private property (e.g.: school playground on a weekend, or parking lot). They then take you on a short supervised road journey, and assuming you show an acceptable level of competence you get your CBT - which is valid for two years (I think).

cbt course first with your theory test, then get a second hand honda cg. or suzuki gn. learn the road repeat everything twice and twice over. practice with a pushbike. on a pedestrian/cycle friendly part of town look over your shoulder before you make any sudden change of direction. on the road with a motorbike you need to learn a lot of skills, join a ride-out you'll be looked after. stick with the 125 for a year then do the full test preferably direct access only if your over 21! means you wont be restricted to 33bhp for 2 years. a lot of bikers will tell you their tips, ignore them listen only to an acreddited profesional trainer. get a bike thats what you want to ride on as a rider: sports/all rounder/cruiser/tourer/trailie common makes of these bike are cbr/hornet/harley/pan european/ bmw gs. wear armoured gloves buy only quality gear, never second hand protection. be visible at all times and finally look once look twice then look again.Where can i find a buell for under 6 Gs in wisconsin?

depends on the state for the MSF course (motorcycle safety foundation) Fl requires a DMV (around the parking lot) motorcycle proficiency course loop graded by the DMV official for the motorcycle endorcement of the regular DL or just the "motorcycle only" rather than the "motorcycle also"U can most likely get a mo-ped and just go.
