NeverDull is my rust remover of choice as long as it's not deep down pitted rust. NeverDull will remove the rust chemically rather than abrasively like steel wool does. Harley chrome polish and Harley-Davidson 4/0 steel wool. Harley also sells some long cloth strips for shining handle bars. You might want to look into Harley-Davidson microfiber polising cloths.1st bike. CBR600f or R6? is there anything else i shud look at?

If their really pitted or rust spotted you might try some Navel Jelly But if they are pitted that much, their going to look like crap no matter what you do unless you take them and get them re-chromed. I hate to hear that, nothing worse than a dirty bike.
