book prices are all fine and dandy if the bike were brand new. you have to put into account the wear and tear of the bike from the previous owner. has it been well taken care of? has it been raced? how often was the bike gone through?
does it have many aftermarket or high performance parts on it?
all these questions you need to ask someone if you are to buy a bike, especially a used one.
the 2005 Suzuki RM 250 2 stroke bike is a great machine, and if it is good condition, probably worth like 4000-5000 dollars.
