i have never had a problem as long as its not in any1's way or blockin anything. just plain ol common sense ( :Come to Chester where you can park cars, lorries and motor bikes on the pavement with no problems from the law, frequently pedestrians must walk into the road to pass the illegally parked vehicle.
It appears to be a postal lottery, depending on where you live or park decides if you are prosecuted or not.
A motorcycle is a mechanically propelled vehicle. So there is no difference in parking one, or a lorry on the pavement. It's just that bikes are small enough to often cause no comment from the public, or a reaction from the authorities.

I've never had a problem, just be considerate of whether people in wheelchairs or with prams can get past.Use your common sense and only park on wide pavements where you won't impede pedestrians. i got a ticket a couple of years back doing this, but i think generally as long as the pavement is wide enough for it not to cause an obstruction, most traffic wardens will let you get away with it.What is the best beginner motorcycle, but yet sporty looking?

i've parked my bike in town on the pavement and been chased by the wardens it is legal to park it in a cycle zone (as far as i'm aware)way back in 1966 I got fined £1 for parking a moped on a pavement, outside Deal Police station ! This may not sound much, but I was only earning £6 per week !
