Question:
While riding on the highway I was hit by a piece of metal trim, possibly from the wheel well of an old truck or something. it was a long piece and hit the forks between the headlight and the front tire, and kinda wrapped itself around. I pulled over quickly to get rid of it, but it had made a lot of scratches on the fork metal and to the plastic fender over the tire. Bummer!!

Stop in to a Body Shop and have them look at it. They have the proper products to 'buff' this out (if possible). If it's deep enough, it may need a new clear coat applied.

if you have bare or polished metal your good to go, get to work buffing.
otherwise you are looking at painting or re-chroming the piece.
