What would be the best rim size for a 2006 yamaha grizzly 660 12' or 14' rims?

I currently have a 2003 Grizzly 660.When i first put new tires on my quad i was gonna go to the 27" tall ITP Mudlites.After lookin at the front end of my quad with the stock 25" tall tires on it,i turned the handlebars both ways to see how much clearance there was and to see if larger tires would fit.Those stock 25" tall tires come really close to rubbin in the front from the factory when turned all the way to the left or the right.Since i was all about functionality and not looks,i bought a new set of 25" ITP's for the quad.I'm am glad i did.Those ITP Mudlites kick butt!! I have seen people put larger than 25" tall tires on their Grizz.All the way up to 28".I really dont know how they got them under there because i was sure that mine would rub in the front if i was to go taller.One other thing you got to think about is the torque your gonna lose with the larger tires.You will also have to upgrade your clutch assembly too so you dont burn it up runnin the larger tires.Personally i would say keep with the stock size tires and rims.I know the bigger ones look better but looking better and working better are two differnent things.I have never needed anything any taller than a 25" tall tire and we sometimes do some heavy mud riding.Maybe those guys that put on the larger tires also put a small lift on the quad as well to fit those big tires.Its a possibility.Just check your turning radius first to see if your gonna have some clearance issues with larger tires.Good luck and if your gonna get new tires,i highly recommend the ITP Mud Lites!!
