Question:
i was puling into a parking lot and hit a bump and my bike fell over. I was going like 2 mph so it basically just fell to one side. My question is, do i need to do something mechanically now? what happens inside the bike when a situation like this happens?

Usually nothing happens inside. Maybe if it landed on something...The engine will die before it gets oil starved.
Just pick it up and look for anything bent or broken. What you see is what you need to fix. Nothing to it.

your pride might be hurt and a few bent parts...but nothing major needs done...good luck on the bumps and watch out for them.ray charles used to ride and he could see themUsually nothing much. If you have any sort of ECU, then it's possible for the computer to get scrambled - although not too likely. Otherwise, if nothing on the outside is broken, then count your lucky stars and be more careful next time - and don't forget to inspect it carefully before you get back on! (Look for bent handlebars, twisted forks, broken mirrors and lights - don't forget the turn signals - make sure you haven't lost any oil from the engine, and clean the battery and battery box AS SOON as you get home. Many bike batteries will lead acid if tipped on their side.

try going a little bit faster so you don't fall over so much.put
your feet down next time.
I suspect the reason you dropped your bike at 2 mph was because your forks were slightly turned. At that speed it's bound to happen. NEVER have your forks turned as you come to a stop! Meanwhile, unless you left the bike running a long time after falling over then no harm was done to any internal part of the motor. The only thing damaged was your pride...and maybe some scratched chrome or paint.
