Walk the stand with the arms facing outward toward the back tire. Align the arms with the swing arm and push the stand as close as possible to the back wheel. Pivot the stand on the wheels by pulling backwards. Make sure the stands arms are directly lined up with each side of the swing arm and push down. That's it.
