Which is the best Motorcycle/Scooter in about 150 cc range in India?
Up in front.....down in back.....but for every bit you gain at the top end .....you also lose power in the bottom end. Where it is needed for quick starts. If you do go up in front...go up by only one tooth. Try these guys out....they can help you if anybody can.www.sprocketspecialists.com
I think you would need a larger front, smaller rear, or larger rear tire.
is it legal for a motorcyle to go through a red light in tennessee if it is all clear?
no, it would give you a slower top-end speed. larger in front and/or smaller in back would increase top engine speed as long as there is enough horsepower to get you there. tire size can make some difference--A smaller front sprocket will not increase your top end, because the motor will be making more revolutions compared to the rear sprocket.
A larger front sprocket or smaller rear sprocket will give you more top end, but your acceleration will suffer a bit. I'd use no more than one more tooth on the front, or 3-4 teeth less on the rear until you get what you're looking for.
Chinese dirt bikes may not have a significant parts supply, but they should match similar Honda or Yamaha products. Take the sprocket to your Jap Bike Dealer and compare them to what's in the parts bin.

A smaller front sprocket will slow the bike. You need a larger front sprocket or a smaller rear.
