They're very manageable which is why some people say they are boring. If you want a bike to scare you then the Blade probably won't (if you're experienced with the latest 1000cc sports bikes!).I heard from a friend that Orange County Choppers did a bike for the Eragon movie...?
Build quality is good, comfort is also good, its like a blackbird when you're on the motorway, eats up miles, but when you get to the twisties its super easy to ride fast.

Its not as aggressive in the mid-range as the GSX-R or R1 which is why those bikes are considered more exciting but at the same time when you've been in the saddle all day and you want to switch off a bit the blade will let you do that - the others less so.

I dont have one, I have a GSXR 1000 K4. But, I wish I had gone for the Blade! The build quality is superb, they are extra reliable and more 'tame' than other 1000 cc sports bikes. It depends what you like really, I suppose I ultimately went for the GSXR because it is the most mental. I suspect that the 'Blade is easy to ride, quite forgiving and deceptively fast, i.e. you dont necessarily realise that you are going as fast as you are. You do not state your age or experience of bikes. If you are used to riding large capacity bikes, then forgive me. But if you are newish (3yrs of passing your test) and have not ridden a 1000cc before, be VERY careful as insurance is horrific and they are unbelievably fast and powerful. These bikes will crack 62mph in 3 seconds, 100 in 5-6 and 140 in 10.5 seconds. They generate twice as much power to weight as a Ferrari (800bhp/tonne roughly) and need skill to control properly.
If you are ready, I would say go for it but make sure its run in properly if it is new.

i have one friend who has one and his biggest complaint is its just boring and not much fun.i have always had gsxr's and have a k6 yoshi 1000 and compared to the honda its just way more fun.
on the other note my uncle has a blade 05 and a k5 gsxr thou and he wished he never got the blade. its great in a straight line but not as agile as the gixer. but its down to preference. i would say try it. dont believe the hype about honda's being the best with build quality i know off people with complaints about honda's just like any other bike. theres good and bad in all.
