I was reading a cycletrader magazine a while back and i saw a street legal quad. But for some reason i dont think they were. what would i have to do to make one street legal? how much will it cost? If it is not why not.?...

They will never be street legal. They would need headlights, tail lights, turn signals, mirrors, and must be registered as a motor vehicle. ATV's do not meet the legal description of a street legal motor vehicle.

God I wish but I really doubt it..The only places I know where ATV's are street legal are in counties dedicated to ATV riding (Evarts, KY for example). Unfortunately people who don't ride or own an ATV think we're dumbasses on a mission to hurt ourselves...(if they only knew).Keep riding man, keep ridin.
