Question:
I'm looking for something quick, that has good handling, good acceleration, and decent gas mileage. I don't want a speed freak or some kind of death machine, I just want something that's agile and a solid ride.
How to start up a suzuki bike?
I'm 6'3" and 200lbs, so I don't want a little scooter. I also don't want something that gets 30MPG with premium gas, I'd prefer to be saving money when I ride rather than pissing it away. Doesn't have to be flashy or super cool, I'm not a kid.
Is it legal to "lane split" while riding a motorcycle?
Thoughts?
Answers:
Suzuki GSXR 600 is a very fast bike, more forgiving aand stable than the other 3. If that's to much speed 2nd choice would be the Katana.
Before you start driving one make sure you know how to handle a sport bike, most people believe that you lean a bike in turns, that's a myth. Stay straight over your bike and use the handle bars to turn, if you get advice from someone and want to know if he knows how to handle a bike look at his back tire. You can tell he knows how to drive if the tire is worn rounded, if he has a flat surface over the center he only knows how to stop and go.
Honda VFR 800
Power, Big, Stylish and it's not a huge engine so you won't be shipping off too much money
Would someone recommend the best street tire for a 06 Hayabusa?
A Honda 919. My buddy has one. It is sporty, quick, and gets good gas mileage. I like it better than any other sport bike I have ridden, and I am also 6'3" and about 200 lbs. I would also consider a Buell. Buells handle great, accelerate quickly, and look really good. Can someone please help me with me brake problem???
i think a sport tourer is in your future like a yamaha FJR1300only you know what you want.
Any thoughts on types of different streetbikes versus dual sport (on and off-road) bikes?
Hi take a look at the Honda Super Blackbird, it has got to be one of the best bikes ever made it will do every thing you want and more.GOOD LUCK.
What to learn to drive a motorcycle in phlia. pa?
what type of rider are you long distance and some sport or more sport than distance. pick up a zrx1200r this bike will do it all distance sport good mileage there is a huge following of these bikes and you can find one very reasonable. I have an RC51 and a 2001 zrx1200r and I wont part with either of them the zrx is not as good in the corners but it surprises many people that see it turn. The bike is an absolute blast to ride it has a ton of torque and plenty of nuts its great in traffic and still excellent on the freeway I am larger myself 6-0 230 so it will move you and there is plenty of room check it out everyone that rides one loves it and most are a little olderI was just asking what you think of vintage MC I am proud of what i ride?
If you've got some experience but want comfort along with your performance, I'd say check out a Suzuki SV650 or maybe a Honda VFR800. Maybe even the Buell Lightning Long if you're into that sort of thing. I'm about your size and these seem to feel pretty comfortable for me, while the race replica bikes feel rather awkward.More Questions & Answers ...
