Just because a machine is over a certain age does not make it a classic. It is "collectible". Case in point...the 1957 Chevy. It's a popular car but it is NOT considered a classic. It's "collectable". Classic cars are Duesenbergs, V-16 Cadillacs, pre-war Packards. In fact in the car world there are NO post-WW ll cars considered classics. In time, the 57 Chevy may attain "classic" status but it hasn't yet. So your 1982 "Whateveritis" is just 25 years old.
