It all depends on what you are looking for. My experience with Kawasaki has been that they are faster than any bike but Suzuki. Honda holds up very well because they are built like tanks. I would prefer a Honda over a Kawasaki any time. What is the best bike for us "short" riders?
all of the 250f's are excellent bikes, it depends on personal preference and I'm sure the power output ( lowend, midrange, top end) varies somewhat between the bikes, it depends what kind you want. I would go with the CRF, the KXF has had a fair amount of engine problems, valves etc. Owning a 4-stroke requires much more maintenance than 2-strokes. Any 4-stroke will require regular valve adjustments and make sure you change the oil and oil filter, and the air filter regularly. If the bike becomes difficult to start it usually means that the valves need adjustment. Don't ignore this, if the valves get to out of wack it could mean thousands of dollars in repair bills.I have ridden both bikes and find they are pretty compatible performance wise, so I would go with the one with the best reliability record, the CRF. If you don't like turning wrenches and don't have a lot of money to pay a mechanic or make repairs, I would consider the Yamaha YZF or even the KTM SXF, both of which are quite a bit more reliable than the Honda or Kawi.
