1) Stay within your limits. Many think adrenalin = fast. That is not true adrenalin = beyond safe limits. If you are scared you are out of control. My fastest lap times are comfortable, fun and smooth.
2) Keep you ego in check. A sport bike is like driving an Indy car for drivers training. It Is serious power. Think with your brain not your balls. There is a time and place for everything. Wheelies, 170mph etc. These are not best done on the freeway in traffic.

Not someone who talks like they know but someone who has demonstrated there skills over many years at the track. Always bounce info you hear off that source then make a decision.
