I have a lambretta and want to get it sprayed, its already powder-coated and I want to get a paint job on top, not all over just on front and sidepanels, I just wanted to know if your can spray paint ontop of powder-coating and if not Why?

power coating can be hard to remove if panel has awkard place to get to and on how thick it is the painter will want to get a good etch coat of paint on any powercat will ruffle his surface which he has to sand down or flat this will take him time which will cost u you can sand pane down by hand dont inhale dust have it acid dipped which gets rid everthing or shoot blast tell your painter which so he can clean the surface before paint incase any reaction may happenA bike which is very fuel efficient,rough & tough (can go 250 to 350 km in one go without any stop)?

Not reccomended to paint over powder coat. It does not have an effective base for which other paint to adhere. Try shotblasting the powder coat off to get to base. Does not cost a lot. Ask around.
