This question is for the Harley heades, is the 03' ultra standard frame the same as the 07 frames?

I have a 2003 ultra standard frame from a wrecked hogg, I'm wonding is the 2007 Street Glide built on that same frame or did the frame change?

The Ultra family has a rear suspension with adjustable air shocks. That is one of the FLH series and according to the official Harley web site the Street Glide is also an FLH. To know if there is any minor difference you would have to go to a parts counter and get the exact specs for each bike.

However if you are wanting to build a Street Glide of your own it could certainly be done on that 03 FLH frame.

But before you do anything, I suggest you take the frame to a reliable shop and have them go over it to check for cracked welds and for straightness. If it is not straight you could have serious handling difficulties.

I had some handling problems with a new Wide Glide simply because the front forks were adjusted too tight and wear the bearings irregular. Made it shake the handlebars in a turn if I hit any kind of bump or crack. You do NOT want that!
