Will a pink Bella razor motorcyle work if it gets wet?
Ah, if you want to hear a radio you might as well forget a harley. I think a v rod will do a 12 second quarter, but then again Im not a big Harley fan.You could go that fast if you loaded it in a pickup truck.
How much would insurance for a 2000 harley sportster be in Colorado?
Why do you care for drag speed of a harley. If you want fast straight line speed get a Suzuki Hyabusa. You criteria for a HD is not what HDs are about. There is not a stock Harley that will do that, the nearest thing to it is a V rod and its not really a Harley its a Porche by another name.
he XL 1200S Sport. The Sportster Sport is a return to the original XLCH concept of the hot rod Sportster. Parenthetically, the XLCH Sportster was the bike for which the term "super bike" was originally coined (legend has it that the "CH" stands for either "California Hot" or "Competition Hot"). The new Sport model comes with a little more of everything that has always made the Sportster great, an up rated fully adjustable suspension at both ends, up rated double floating disc front brake, and a 15% higher output 1200cc V-twin engine with lightened flywheels and Buell heads. This makes it the quickest Sportster of them all, with a quarter mile time in the 12.9 second range. Like the standard Sportsters, it retains a generous 6.7inch ground clearance and 36/40 degree lean angles (right/left respectively). Plus outstanding stability, moderate weight for its displacement (all Sportsters weigh under 500 pounds), and the low center of gravity which makes any Sportster a pleasure to ride. Its sportier riding position and understated styling make the Sport the meanest looking of all Sportsters, every inch the street fighter that it is.
Other than that, Harley released a bike called the "Destroyer" in June of 2006. It is completly factory and will run sub 10's in the quarter mile with the right rider. It is a 165+hp, professional-level drag-racing motorcycle. It is not street legal and costs about $50,000. I don't know what it would take to make it street legal but that is as close as you are going to get.
what is the best motercycle on the street right now because im thinking about buying 1?
I don't know about 1/4 mile times, I know my limits. I'm not a racer. If you want quiet, keep the stock pipes. So quiet you could hear a mouse fart. The new motors actually are smoother than the old, and the rubber mounts (just like in your car) help. So try the Sportster Sport that Hawk996 was talking about, THEN tell us what you think.it doesnt sound like you really want a harley but if thats the criteria three bikes can come close. The V_Rod_a water cooled muscle bike with a porsche developed motor. a buell which is a harley powered sportbike that handles very well and with some tweeking can run with japs ( as long as your riding under 120 mph). And theirs the more traditional sportster mentioned above. the most traditional of the three bikes being an aircooled twin cruiser. even though this bike has long been the fastest of the traditional harleys it is thought of as a girls bike due to smaller displacement and overrall dimensions.

A quiet, fast, stock Harley? Next thing you'll want an athletic, beautiful, intelligent, rich supermodel girlfriend with a PhD and a sense of humor!A sportbike under $10k will give you sub-12's at the track bone stock. Sportbikes are always faster than Harleys, and people that want speed ride them.
Can anyone tell me how to balance the carbs on my '98 CBR 600, please?
Look at a Buell or a Harley Vrod. Why do you need to have a radio while you are on a motorcycle?? I can see on a big road king, but a regular bike. Hmmm...my sons 50cc 2 stroke bike stalls on acceleration?
sportster's man. they run smooth as silk, and they have nice quick pickup. the 1200 would offer more in cc's, but their a tad heavier than an 883. i've seen 883's pull extremely hard. if u want it quiet, dont change the pipes. street legal screaming eagle pipes isnt ear shattering, but i dunno if u'd be able to hear a radio tho.i have seen 883's get extremely quick pickup just doing a stage 1
what size fuse does a suzuki gs850 need for the lights?
the v-rod and buell's is all muscle and street legal. my boss that has a v-rod says it has a hell of alot of torque as is out of the box. but with that torque, it's also a fuel thirsty beast, and the gas tank isnt all that much either.
