Yamaha Grizzly 660 Special Edition?

Question:
Ok I've been wanting a tip (a tip as in not the exhaust but the very end of it) for my exhaust and I found one but won't come in for another six days, well I really need to make it sound better and run better is there any chance that my grizzly will get screwed up if I take off the original tip and leave it off and just leave the spark arrestor on? will it make it sound better and run better because its taking off pressure from the exhaust?

The tip your referring to is actually the end of the baffle tube. Removing it will get you more noise, but no noticeable change in performance, and make it illegal for use in public riding areas.
