No. You take your Driver's License for a particular class of vehicle. You probably took one to allow you to drive a car. It does not allow you to ride a motorcycle. That is a separate test.Other than adding fuel and changing oil, what routine maintenance should I perform on my motor bike?
No you have to take a CBT Test fof all on Road bikes. It used to. But back in the sixties when the British invasion was happening the law makers saw another way to get money from us and decided a motorcycle needed a separate permit and road test and they charge for that. That's when all my friends had bikes and they were mostly B.S.A , Norton and Triumph before the Japanese got into the picture with Honda. Harley hadn't yet introduced the Roadster and few people wanted a big bike like that.Indian was just about out of business by then. Now it's mostly Sport bikes and Harley. But the whole licensing thing is money and nothing more. After you pay for the 2 tests and pass them they put a motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license.DM Drivers Motorcycle.
