Question:
On my Suzuki TS 50 (2001) the kick start shaft has been rounded off so I have got a replacement I intent to fit, aroun the shaft (in the casing) is an oil seal. My bike is two stroke so I am wondering, does this seal keep in some type of oil other than the two stroke mixed with petrol and if so is it gearbox oil or engine oil, just so I knwo what to put back in once I have removed the casing.
Thanks

Gearbox oil. You'd know this if you had a manual which is highly recommended before you start taking parts off the engine. Sometimes the kickstart shaft can be removed by just taking off the clutch cover, other times you need to split the cases. Not sure how it is on that bike.
