HELP ME im looking for a good learners BIKE?
You can pretty much disregard what the previous poster said about seat height. The DR, like all dual-sports has a high seat, but the DR's seat height is actually adjustable between a high and low position.
Do you need to take a theory test before i take a CBT?
You'll definitely want an aftermarket saddle for the DR, the stock seat is like sitting on a 2x4.
How to import used motorcycle in India?
Small gas tank - I usually fill up around 100-110 miles. I'm looking to replace this with a larger aftermarket tank though.
Don't expect the DR to respond well to freeway riding, you'll start to run out of steam around 65. Keep to the back roads and city streets when on pavement and you're right in its element.
They are awesome, go for it!
I have previously owned the DR 650, its a great bike, but I have a Kawasaki KLR 650 now. The DR is a superior off-road machine, but the KLR650 has a bigger tank, more torque, and more comfortable seat. It all depends on what you plan on using the bike for - primarily dirt DR, 50/50 KLR.
Why a two stroke diesel engine is not used for for two wheelers ?
Honda and BMW also make some great bikes in this dual sport category, but I'd say there are more KLR's around than all the other ones combined.
Race Take off tires yes or no?
phenomenal bike for muli-terrain use. tallish seat height, so make sure you don't have stubby legs if you're trying to ride it. Other than that, keep it between the trees.More Questions & Answers ...
