Is it possible to economically reline a motorcycle helmet or would I be better off to buy a new one?
'04 harley heritage softail here. I wouldn't trade it for a second. 12k miles and still can feel my ****. Now if I had a rigid, I'd have a numb butt.Moped Operators License Question?
Been on by buddies rigid Exile Chopper. Looks real good but rides like sitting on a jackhammer. After letting out some air in that rear tire, it feels like a slower jackhammer. My lower spine kept me from walking straight at the event we rode to.
Whenever he pulls that chop out, after a half hour of riding, I can tell he is feeling it, just like I did. Actually, due to it's lack of versatility, he is thinking of selling it. His Road King gets all the riding time in.
What makes a motorcycle difficult for begginer riders?
So, for a putt around town, a rigid is good, but only because you like the looks of the bike. For comfort, of course go for the softtail. Road king and other touring bikes are like couches on wheels. Thats great for long rides. Then you can get mad at the other guys for complaining and unnessessary stops.
Hi all, im 6ft 2 inch tall so what would be a good learner/125 bike to get so it dont look small?
Buy a softail, you will be pleased that you did, I own a softail standard and the ride is so nice. How many miles can you get out of a set of tires on a street bike?
If you are bar hopping or riding local a rigid is 'tolerable' but don't plan any road trips.Rigids have a 'cool factor' but really don't handle that great and will beat the hel l out of your butt and your innards after 100mi. or so.
Where can i find a four wheeler for less than $1500?
Soft tail. With the crappy roads in my town a rigid would ruin your kidneys even if you're just bar hopping.Get what you like/ can afford.
Soft-tails are more comfortable, but you can do things to a rigid bike to make it soft. I built a rigid, and rode it across country, but I did have a seat that had springs below it. Hard-tails dont only hurt your butt, but they also vibrate the hell out of your hands, and that get kinda uncomfortable.
Please help??my dirt bike 70 4stroke wont start i dont really know much about bikes?
I don't think you'll find too many hardtail cruisers out there. Most of that seems to be reserved to the chopper market. If comfort is of interest, anything that dampens the bumps is better than taking it all in the butt and spine.I have a 110 scooter, what color is best suited.what do u think is a good color?
Short answer: soft.
If you're looking for any kind of comfort, go with the softail. A rigid has a very limited travel distance before numb butt sets in, or worse.
If you prefer cruiisers than you definetly want the softail. That rigid will certainly limit the cruising part.
What would a 2002 Ducati (900ss) motorcycle be worth?
If you ever plan on having children get the soft tail. the rigid will have the nice bike factor but the soft will let you get more miles before loosing all feeling below the chest.More Questions & Answers ...
