How many 82 HD Sturgis' were produced? How many non-black ones?

I bought my 82 FXB Sturgis used (500 miles) in 1982. I have always been told it was an extremely rare bike due to its reddish/maroon factory paint scheme. I've tried emailing harley and never got a response. Does any one know the answers?
