Beetle Bags?

it wont last very long, and the forces its subjected to will cause a weakened tie rod to snap. if it does when riding, u will be in a world of hurt. their heat treated out of high carbon steel. if u smacked it hard enough to bend it, trying to straighten it will change the temper.
its safer and cheaper to just replace the tie rod than to pay hospital bills after it threw u off the hard way.

Plz tell me you don't have to?!?

Not if you value your life. Spend the money for a replacement or take it to a professional that can heat treat it after straightening.

Has anyone heard of the Harley Davidson plant in Pennsylvania closing down?

It can be straigntened in a workshop and will regain it's full strength if re-tempered coorectly. If it is not tempered, or tempered incorrectlt, it will not regain it's strength and will fail more rapidly, and murphey's law dictates that it will fail when you need it most.

I have put soppy water in my bike gas tank and cant get it all out. Do I need a new tank?

It depends on how bad it was bent. If it is just bowed I'd straighten it and re-use it in a heart beat. It won't weaken it enough to say so. On the other hand if it is bent sharply you may be better off replacing it
